The Neutrino is a card through steel penetration routine that allows the performer to pass a card through solid precision machined puzzle pieces made from 303 Stainless Steel.

    A self-working, fully examinable penetration that can be performed completely surrounded. You begin with twelve heavy, precision-machined stainless-steel pieces and assemble them with your spectator into a solid, impenetrable block roughly the size of a deck of cards. The finished block is slid into a black, rugged plastic case that has a continuous slit running through it.

    You then push an ordinary playing card through the slit — and straight through the solid steel block. The card can be moved around freely and even inserted lengthwise. When the card is removed and the puzzle is taken apart, every piece is fully examinable, revealing the impossibility.

    Unlike earlier penetration puzzles, Neutrino shows the complete solid block before the penetration occurs, so the effect is clear and direct rather than revealed as an afterthought. The method also allows the card to pass across the full length of the block.
